The photo workshop facilities are part of the recently completed Petersen Ranch headquarters. Situated on a hillside overlooking a lakefilled valley, the building has been built with numerous green building methods. Passive solar cooling, rainwater collection, solar hot water heaters and geothermal cooling are just some of the technologies used in the construction.

The photo workshop classroom is one of the highlights of a workshop at the Petersen Ranch. Easily accomcodating 8 students, the classroom is equipped with state of the art audio visual equipment and both wired and wireless high-speed internet connections. The classroom has a magnificent view of the valley below, private balcony and restroom.

Several outdoor patios and decks are situated adjacent to the classroom and provide excellent meeting places for discussion or relaxation.

A covered outdoor dining area offers spectacular views and is situated to take advantage of the natural prevailing breezes. An outdoor kitchen and serving areas provide an outstanding area for meals and snacks. All outdoor areas are also provided with wireless internet access.
